Anyone know Ken Zalecki, the owner of the blue 1950 chevy fleetline in the July 2013 issue of R&C. It has a similar look to my 51 (using Real Rodders big and littles). I am wondering what size tires he is running on the front and rear..

Does anyone know. (the article did not list this info and the R&C website is way outdated, showing info from March issues. (at least 4 months behind).

    Regards

don't know what size tires are on that car. "strange" looking... all I like about it is the stance and tires. everything else would need to be changed.

on a side note, I am putting wheel tubs and a trunk floor (why do these guys rip out the whole trunk floor to notch a frame?) in a chopped 51 for a guy so he can "lay frame". I have been showing him pics of your car as a better alternative for wheels and suggesting he not bag it. he is ignoring me so he can build it like every other 49-52 you see on the road.

  3. Layin frame isn't trad ,[unless you are an old minitrucker dude.]......

yes, the stance and tires/wheels is the focal for me on that car as well. I am in the need for a set of front tires (to replace the bias I put on it at first) and I want to see if he is running 165R15 or something bigger in the front. The rears I am just curious about.

49 Fink, it is easier to go with the flow and make the popular choice. At times I feel like I am the outcast and must be the strange one going in the direction I did... (hotrod vs custom). Most do not understand the look on that year of car.

Choprods, I am on Old Minitrucker dude.. (did it from the mid 80's to mid/late 90's)
