New R&C (in the 50's) Book

    I just picked up the new Rod & Custom in the 50's book this afternoon at the bookstore ($20 @ B&N). It has reprints of the small format magazine articles & covers from'53 - '59. It has Dean Moon's article on his '34 coupe, March '55's Striping: A work of Art, June '55's How to recognize the MCMXXXII Genus: Ford In It's Natural Habitat, and a bunch more (286 pages). Pretty cool read w/ lots of flathead pictures.

    cool,i've been waiting for that one.so have a lot of other folks,from what i hear...

    I think it's two different books. I've seen the one Iceberg is talking about...looks pretty cool, but it's not the TRJ book we've ALL been waiting for...for a looooooooooooooooooong time...

    well,286 pages for $20 sounds pretty good to me anyway.ya know what i'd really like to see? remember when hot rod did that "1st twelve issues" book? iwish they'd kept going with '49,'50 etc.i'd buy'em all,at least up to the early '60s-george

    Where the hell is that TRJ book? I think I got a picture of one for Christmas but I don't have a book.
