I am still recuperating from the last back surgery and am not looking forward to the third one. The great news is that my friend and machinist Gary Sellin took me to a Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League event at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland MO about 20 miles from my house. WOW was I ever impressed what a facility in a town of 397. Anyway there are 4 engine tractors to turbine powered tractors plus pickups of all makes 4 wheel and 2 wheel drive, it was a fun thing to watch and with Gary I was able to be right in the middle of it. ESPN was there to film for Speed Channel. If any of you watched it I'm the guy with white neck brace do by the track. Now the really good news is that Mr. Lucas is building a lake for drag boats which will be televised in June next year. They are building a drag strip which will be done in 2012. They asked me if I would bring my car to display at the facility next year to promote the drag strip. Mr. Lucas has a ranch nearby is why this little place is suddenly going to be on the map.
Yes, And there is also a new track to be built in Tulare Ca.. Funding has been given for the project..137 million for first phase, To be comlpeted in July of 2012. I Hope, I Hope..This one is for real..
