AAH, it's been fun waiting for parts to show up on the doorstep. The old radiator that came with my 1957 Chevrolet Townsman wagon was a 2 core for a 6cyl, man...that was not going to cool the 283 V8, no way, no how. The 4 core replacement for the 3 core original style V8 radiator showed up and it's installed along with the engine bay completely finished, she's running cool, cool. cool. The original interior is in ok shape after all these years, the only bad thing is the headliner and visor covering. I ripped it all out and it is #1 on the ajenda to be replaced with new windlace as well.

Here's some pics and a few of a recent cruise to the store. I am going for the YOM(year of manf.) yellow wit black Lic. plates for this car, I hear it is more $$$, but worth it.

I have the factory option "power steering" which works great and easy, one finger spin and smooth. Now the brakes could stand an upgrade to disc, might do that later down the road, she stops on a dime presently with all drums.

Thanks for the post and comments.

Looks kind of "stock". How about lowering it, cooler hubcaps, shave the door handles, locks, hood and trunk junk!
