I have a '59 Edsel Ranger with a 292 V8. I've been having lots of problems with my radiator cracking, and I think it's about time to get a new one. Any suggestions? I live in Arizona so I want something that will be able to keep cool during the summer. The radiator is the same as a Fairlane, do any of you know of a reliable radiator?

Scott Attic of Wizard Radiator makes some nice aluminum radiators. If they don't currently make one to fit your car, they probably would do one. They have some listed on eBay and they are made just outside of Buffalo Ny.

X3 on US Radiator. I have bought a number of their coolers, and they always look good, fit better, and work incredibly well.

Try Auto City Cl***ics. They have alumn rad for 57 59 Fords. List on website is $349.00 but they recently had them at a TX swap meet for under $200.00. Several folks on the 57Fords Forever website have used them and have had good reports. Also they are welded not epoxy. They also have toll free #

I bought one from coolcraft.com. I got one made by USradiator and it just arrived today. When I called I asked for the 57-59 fairlane radiator but they told me they could custom make an edsel one, everything looks all good I just need to hook it up!

If you want to keep it cool, go with copper/br***.

UPDATE, I bought one from US Radiator for $410, split months later, I know it's not a cap or thermostat issue. Ended up getting my original one recored and its worked great so far. Had an old hot rodder do it for me who really knows his stuff when it comes to br*** radiators. He showed me the cheap welds on the US Radiator and told me he's been to the factory. Not a good quality radiator in my opinion. They offered to send a check for a repair on it but no refund.
