Well, I sold my 33 Ford Pickup. I decided with grandchildren, a 2 seater was just not the ticket. New in my garage is this 52 Ford Customline 4 Door, 239 Flathead V8, Fordomatic. It shows 66,000 miles on the OD and I think that is probably correct looking at the interior and chrome. The previous owners were not good drivers since it has a few bumps. The engine is stuck but I am not sure why yet. No solid plans yet but I have a 53 Merc Flathead that could go in it or a 302/C6. Comments are welcome...Tom

Wow! That interior is damn nice!

I'm jealous, mine was*****. The seat foam was all dried up and falling out and being blown around, the door panels were barely hanging on and smelly, no carpet, half a headliner...... you get the picture.

Good find, I'm sure your grandkids will like it!

  4. Hey I remember seat covers like that.
Neat ride, your right about the grand kids thing. We keep a boat around for those rare occaisions that the family comes to visit.
Looks like fun. Can't beat a 50s Ford.

Yeah - those seat covers are pretty radical for these days - the back ones look brand new. Looks like the originals underneath may be good. Now if I just had that 53 Merc engine ready to put in, some baby moons & lake pipes...maybe some cherry bombs...Hmmm...
