Hi - I'm Ken, 60 year old having way too much fun playing with cars. My friends tell me that I'm hooked for life. Wheels consume too much of my personal time, but Honestly I can't get of enough it! For 40 years I drooled over magazines - a wanna be until I turned 55. I bought and restored a 1953 Chevy 5 window - 3 speed on the column, 4:11 rear, 235 6 cylinder with dual single barrel carbs, fenton headers, www tires and two tone paint of copper firemist on the bottom and silver on top. That was my 1st hotrod. Sold it and bought a 1948 Chevy 5 window with the intent of slamming it, it was dull faded orange rat rod. I put a 283 and powerglide into it and it was a great fun truck until I stumbled onto a 1934 Pontiac 5 window coupe with a straight 8. I ended up trading that car for a 1934 Pontiac 5 window coupe with a V8. It was ratrod material that needed some help! It came to me in running form. A Pontiac 350, 350 ******, 2:29 Gears, billet Telladega wheels in gray primer all steel. Got it registered and started tearing it apart a year ago. I had it media blasted during the summer and am in full swing trying to get it back on the road in 2009 for it's 75th birthday!
Welcome to the HAMB! CSRA Swap Meet in Bristol is just around the corner. That '34 Pontiac is a good looking car, hope someone is rebuilding it.
