Boy, no ****! I remember the first time someone told me my car was sick. I had just tuned it and here this kid seemed to know something I didn't. I told him that I was working on fixing that. Later, I come to find out sick means cool. That was several years ago. Who knows how they say cool nowadays? Not me, for sure.
Back in Illinois my aunt has lived at 331 Jay street for 60 years? Excuse my ignorance but I remember my 1949 Oldsmobile 2-dr fastback, the green one, having a 331 cube engine?????????
When I hear 331, I still think .030 over 327 before I think hemi. Probably due to the wasted days of my youth as an MP wannabe. A certain William Tyler might have something to do with that too. as far as the olds, whats a +.060 324 come out at?
I am good with that I always figure Ford unless otherwise clarified or it is someone that I know that has a specific car that the gravitate to. Well that did make a 4 door sedan, maybe he ment deuce tudor. But I wonder if it was a '32 duece or was it actually a Nova, for some rreason lately the Nova dudes have been calling their cars dueces.
without going to look any of this up I'm thinking 49 olds was 303. I'm thinking Cadillac had a 331 early in the game as well.
