1952-59 Ford New shiny stuff for my '53

Drove to northeastern Tennessee today to pick up these bumpers repaired and rechromed by Tri-City Plating. These are going to be a major upgrade!

 

Nice. What was the turn round time on the repairs and chroming.

 

I'm jealous! I need to get my rear one done. How long did it tkr for them to get them finished?

 

I lucked up and got these from a guy who is local to Tri-City who sent these to be done but sold the car before they were finished. They were sitting in his garage collecting dust still in the wrapping from Tri-City. He did not mention how long it took between drop off and when he picked them up.

 

I bought mine from Tri-City and they traded with me, the ones I got were already rechromed.

I picked mine up at the Charlotte,N.C. swap meet,mine were bent and in bad shape the ones I got in return were beautiful, instant gratification, I can't recommend a better business for bumpers. HRP





BTW, The '52 -'54 Fords all share the same rear bumper, I learned the hard way that the '54 front bumper is entirely different than the '52 & '53.

 

Dang, I was gonna recommend A&T Bumpers in Hayward, CA for the west coast guys. They did mine last year with a 21 day turnaround time for $425 each. Thanks to inflation, the price has risen to $650 each! Guess I did it at the right time!

 

If anybody needs some good cores let me know. I'll have a front and rear set and also an additional rear that is in useable shape.
