    it is designed to look like dow 7, but the real dow 7 i have on some old mag halibrands is a bit more shiny. i'm not sure exactly sure what the coating is, it came on the wheels.

    i agree 100%. the right wheel can add visual value to even a piece of junk, just as the wrong wheel can take away value from a nice car.

    the main problem is the amount of work to switch back and forth. switching back and forth from 5 lug to 6 pin knock offs would not be cost effective.

    It may be that your wheels may have been polished before treated with dow 7, the texture of the metal has a huge difference on how it looks. I really like the look of the machined lip and cast centers.
