    Is Spring finally here ?
Just seems like cold, wet, driving rain and still some winter still fighting to hang on in the upper Midwest.

Time to upgrade the shop truck to hold 5 people ( Kids/Grand Daughter ) instead of elbow tight 3 in my old 57 Short box.

Great patina on the Burb. (The old Jimmy 305 big piston V6 is long gone) now 350 / Auto Trans / PS / PDB. Comfy.
    Did I say patina......

Seems there are far and few Burb posts.

Enjoy the pics - some personal touches are coming.

I'd drive it ..... If it was a Dodge.

Just joking it looks pretty cool on the outside .... The high back Silverado seats, tilt steering column, modern stereo ..... looks like something I would drive. .... My 1949 Dodge has the same seats, still looking for the stereo ..... we do share the same gas pedal :D
I never did start a build thread here on my truck because it is not far from but not exact hamb friendly.
I wonder why you never posted photos of the drivetrain ..... maybe we should get a moderator here to inspect that interior photo .....

    Just joking I love it.

On yea - the list of needs / wants /clean / organize things up has already started.
Not sanitize with its bumps and s****es but organize under the hood etc.
    Thanks for feedback.

Thanks for the feed back fellas.
There aren’t many posts on Burbs here on the H.A.M.B.
    Not frequent ones anyway.
I seem to go for the not common rides.
Just as cool in their own way I guess. My opinion.

I can picture it with an open trailer carrying a cageless sprintcar to the track Friday night...

I saw Gene at Wild Wades Swap meet. Good to see him.
I remember Gene's old Burb. Then he went to the Bread Truck.....Gene's Ford Barn Parts or something like that.
Went to all the swap meets. Gene's a good guy.

    Thanks Buddy.
Your Pick Up post comments ( winter and the guys minds are wandering) - paint a X ( rated) on your truck door - it will match the post comments.
Not sure what you came up with for a plan since your local Drag Strip closed.
Let me know and will see what the schedule.
    Thanks for the Bourbon invite.

  17. There's something in the works, the guy that ran the track you came to, is trying to lease the 1/4 mile track in the next county, but I'm not sure where that's at. Worse case scenario, I'm gonna try to pull some political favors and get the fairgrounds in my county. It'll happen, one way or another, Lloydfest 2024 must go on!

I have been having an itch with wanting the same thing. Suburban's are cool.

I like the bew truck, with extra enclosed seating and hauling. Look forward to seeing your improvements.

    Thanks….
Will have to see the date / schedule.
I just got the truck. Loaded it in a very heavy down pour on the trailer. So a 50ft crawl onto the trailer. That’s it.
Excited to put some miles on it and any mechanical needs / upgrades / organize the engine bay / any internal gages etc.
