Simple, you drill a hole in the bottom.

I have found out after running the numbers on the 409, its a 1962 ss 409 hp. I have posted more pics of it on v-driveboat.com ... I'm trying to get any info on it I can. I have no clue what the transmission is or how it works.. I am really glad to finally have it in my shop. The inside of the valve covers are very clean.

Ohhhh, I see by your picture what you mean now...you mean it's an old boat!:D

Check the details in the pictures, it's like comparing Ford's and Chevy's!!

Chandler, since you are in the same area I am in, when you find a good stringer floor man let me know. I have a 76 hondo sprint t deck I need a floor redo and stringers. But it will have to wait untill my Model A gets done. You are lookin around the 5000 dollar range for a floor like this.Thats why mine is waiting:D

This boat is absolutely Hamb friendly. Great find! Something like this may just be my next project.....if there's any $ left after I finish my 41 Plym that is! Love these flatties.

I love old boats. A 409 to top! I bet that thing barely sets above water with that heavy engine in it.

Man, that thing is rad! I was raised around old boats, so I have a serious soft spot. That thing should be restored and put back in the water, no matter how temping that 409 in a roadster would be..in my humble opinion. :)
