Did you make those? If not, I bet a lot of guys here are going to ask you for the part number. That's a perfect fit.
Made to fit the car out of straights and bends in heavy gauge stainless steel so as to miss the rack and pinion steering and the new coilover front suspension
Its not my work it is the work of my good mate Mark his welding is so good it reduces me to tears He is the guy who built the stainless front suspension and at the moment he is doing the stainless 4 bar with panhard rod rear set up using a narrowed 9 in off a Mercury Cougar and coilovers
Looks great. And you really have some mate there. Wish I had a friend with the talent & equipment. I am having a set custom made since there is nothing to fit my setup, but I"ll be nice and not disclose the cost, as your mate may see the post and rethink his generous dieed and start thinking $$! Car is coming along nice - looking forward to seeing more as it progresses.
Hahahaha i am paying him and he aint cheap however his work is as near to perfect as i have ever seen so im very happy with it
That sir, is the nicest work I have seen in a long time. Maybe forever. Please dont stop the sharing of pictures.
Wow thanks for the positive vibes guys it helps a lot . we have been working on this car for over a year now as it was in a shocking state and if im honest it should have gone to the s**** yard however im a bit pig headed and refuse to be beat so we have re built the whole car from the ground up and its been a ton of work but 50s fords deserve the best and i hope we have done it . i know it wont be popular with everybody as its anything but original but i have been building this car in my head for 25 years and as i say the car was falling to bits and better it be back on the road as a hot rod than just turning into a pile of rust or being parted out Duncan
