New Stoodebaker guy from CO

Discussion in 'New to the H.A.M.B.? Introduce yourself here!' started by Stewed47, Jan 4, 2007.

  1. Hey guys, Im Tim from Centennial, CO. My son (KustmAce) signed me up on this forum a while ago but I never got a chance to post until now so I thought I would introduce myself first.

Most of the local CO guys have probably seen my truck around at the cruises. I drive a tan 1947 Studebaker M-5 pickup with more traditional accesories than I can count. After having bought an abandoned project, I have done all the work myself, including the 305 smallblock Chevy swap. Only thing original is the body, which sits on top of a 72 Chevelle front clip, with a 55 Chevy rear end and a 350 trans.

I'm trying to go for a traditional shop truck look, but I try to do it differently than everyone else.

Ive been a car guy all my life, and I have put as much of what I know into my son's tiny head so he can keep the tradition alive as well. I also do pen and ink drawings, and as soon as I can get it scanned or photographed, Ill put up in the Friday Art Show.

I look forward to learning a lot here, and mingling with all the other anti-boyd-types around here.

    Tim
