    Just got into my dream project, 1939 gmc coe pickup. At 74 she's mighty solid. Gonna make her shine and have a good life. no doubt at 68 she'll out last me.

    When you say "Heavy Cab" do you mean it's a Heavy Duty GMC COE, & not a Medium Duty GMC COE.

    correct, as i understand it the 2.5 ton up cabs are alike. that is what this truck is. one way to tell is the 2 windshield cranks on the dash.

    looking every where for the upper grille bar [has gmc stamped in it] and inside driver door window garnish moulding for the old 1939 gmc heavy duty cab coe. any source would be appreciated. she's 95% complete and due in body and paint in abt 2 months.
