Just got into my dream project, 1939 gmc coe pickup. At 74 she's mighty solid. Gonna make her shine and have a good life. no doubt at 68 she'll out last me.
From the heart, pull toy, you need to intrduce yourself first. Then move on to the questions. Don't want to see you HAMB-urgered. Don.
correct, as i understand it the 2.5 ton up cabs are alike. that is what this truck is. one way to tell is the 2 windshield cranks on the dash.
just figured out who i was talking to and i did not mean to school you on identifing the cab. my bad.
Thanks for the welcome, just learning to thread, pic's will follow as I learn how. Let me say I have admired Mr Shorty for a while. Can tell he's got a place at your garage. thanks again
looking every where for the upper grille bar [has gmc stamped in it] and inside driver door window garnish moulding for the old 1939 gmc heavy duty cab coe. any source would be appreciated. she's 95% complete and due in body and paint in abt 2 months.
