My name is Anders Farr. I (obviously) live in WI. I happened to get turned on to your board through a 4x4 board that I am on. Since I've always liked old rods and cars I thought I would stick around and see what I could learn. I am not really familiar with rods or rodding but have always like them/it. Aside from being a fulltime Mr. Mom (that's right I stay at home and rip my hair out taking care of my daughter all day), I currently build and maintain Jeeps for myself and others to go offroading. I'm a journeyman Tool and Die maker (although not currently in the trade), as well as spending quite a few years working as a Welder/Fabricator. Eventually I plan to find and start building some sort of street rod and in recent years the "Rat Rods" have really caught my attention. Of course I'm sure "Rat Rods" is the wrong term but that's why I'm here to learn. I hope to learn alot from the site, and maybe even pick a few things that will help me out on some of my Jeep builds. I have to appoligize to the mods and senior members of the site, I posted in the classifieds before I did my intro . I will try to make sure I don't let something like that happen again. Thanks, Anders
I got a buddy named Al Lucci in Kenosha. He's retired from AMC/DC there and has a sweet 53 4 door Chevy 210. He's laid up right now but watch for his car at cruises and such. Its tan with a brown top! Welcome to the HAMB! Dan (former Jeeper myself)
Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. Good to see I won't be hanging with the crickets in good ole Cheeseland. Al Lucci is a familier sounding name, not sure why though. When in September is that going on at the Grove? Maybe I'll have to cruz out there with the family in the Dually and give it a few runs on the strip while I'm there.
