Josh here and stoked to be here! I have visited this forum a great number of times and finally bit the bullet and registered... I know lame right? So I started building my first vehicle which was a 1955 1st Chevy 3100 at the ripe old age of 15. A number of local known hot rod builders noticed my p***ion and rewarded me with their knowledge and guidance when I finally saved up enough money and purchased my truck from a local auto repair shop. The reason I chose a 55' 1st was because of my Mom. One of my first driving experiences was with my mom while behind the wheel of a 54' Chevy 3100 and from that day I knew I was in love. The truck ended up built with a Camaro clip, 400 SB Crate engine (Thanks to G'MA), 350 Auto, 10 bolt rear, and a few other tid bits that made it one of the coolest trucks at my high school (Not saying much LOL)... Now 18 years later I am still building cars.. After traveling around Central America for a while I moved home with my new family and graduated with top honors from Wyo-Tech in Sheet Metal fab, custom paint, ch***is fab, high performance engine building, and trim. Since 2007 I have been working out of my little fab shop building everything from basic IFS systems to full frame $1**,**X builds. Fabricating and restoring vintage cars has challenged me in a mul***ude of ways that should of had me packing my bags an exponential number of times but when you love something you just stick through the bad weather... My wife must certainly love me for all the BS I have put her through in this crazy industry... Anyway, glad to be here, excited to learn, and ready to share.. PHOTO was taken in 1998 when I was about 17 years old and I had just driven my 55' 1st for a 2 hour trip to my Grandparent's house... Good times
