I was raised in SW AR. and my first car was a 53 Chevy 2 DR Post Bel Air that was built in Central CA. but that was a long time ago. Currently working on a 1939 Chevy COE that was a work truck in Irvine CA, it was built in and stayed in CA. until 1992, when it was transported to TN and found its home in a barn until I pulled it out in May 2016. I want to put it in a later chassis with a diesel set up and modern running gear. It will have a pick up style bed so it won't be a roll back or flat bed. I have all the parts for the original truck except a radiator cap (posted in the parts needed) and a piece of engine cowling that I will not need. I also have a 39 Chevy Street Rod with 195k miles on it, a 34 Chevy 3WC that is on the rack, and a 48 Chevy PU that is waiting its turn after the 34 gets set up. Would appreciate any suggestions on the chassis set up for the 39 COE.
