My name is Bill Schickling. I live in the frozen world known as Upstate New York near Lake Ontario. Think Lake effect snow. I am in the process of building a 1940 Chevy pickup. My goal is to make the truck look like something a guy would build in the late forties or early fifties. Pretty stock extrerior with some period speed equipment on the engine. Looking forward to learning some things from everyone here.

Now chopping a 53 chevy 210 post 2dr and have a 51 merc coupe to do after that. so I have some projects to keep me busy for a while.
