New to HAMB from Alaska

Hi all just joined.I have a Very good condition 47 ford 2 dr. super deluxe been in storage since 78 with V8 flattie.Would really like to up grade trans,susp and brakes.Am open to suggestions.Parts sent up here are double $s so I was hoping to find bolt on parts or minor change parts from salvage yards.Lotsa of info on here and I am slowly working thru forums for this info.Hopfully will have it close to done in the spring.
