Hi Randy. You should have no trouble finding cool cars to drive with. We still have a couple feet of snow on the ground so cruising is out of the question.

    Welcome from Milwaukee Wisconsin.

  6. Welcome from the SoCal desert. I would guess you will have an easier time meeting car guys in San Diego compared to out here in the boonies. I have a 55 fairlane that I am starting to get back on the road after a few years.

    Randy,
You are a lucky devil living in SD!!
    I've visited/lived there (college friends) since 76.-when I drove my 2dr 50 Fleetline there.
I hope this doesn't get blipped-no ad-just FYI (I'am still new at posting regs) but-check out the garage at Symbolic Motors north of SD. The mechanics are like surgeons; but they are also into their cars&other street rods they will help you!!
Talk to Ben (bartender) at Alphonso's on Prospect street-good data/good friend. Get a carneasada burrito (sic) good steak. Also see HEAD Chef at the Bahia-John. He supered the food for the BUICK OPEN there!! We go back 20+. He knows a LOT of people-he'll help.
Hope this helps get you started in SD! Fly
