Hello my name's Bill.I live in southern WV and I am a caregiver for my wife of 24 yrs.I own a 52 chevy 5 window pickup, doin some badly needed work every chance I can get to the garage. Welcome from another new person. You might look at www.stovebolt.com for truck relevant info. I have a 54 and a 53. The frame swap sounds like a lot of work. I have a 68 impala rearend, a 283 with HEi, and a turbo 350 with a Lokar shifter that I jsut installed in teh 54. It so far seems like a real good set up. I plan on updating the brakes up front to discs and maybe power steering. Otherwise stay with the straight axle. My .02. Tim
