    Howdy..

I have been lurking on the site for awhile, I could read these boards for days--Anyhow, I just picked up a 1950 Dodge Wayfarer Business Coupe (2D3P) and I am having one hell of a time finding new Brake shoes. I need all four wheels redone. I had no problem finding the wheel cylinders, but the shoes are proving troublesome.

I searched the boards and couldn't find anything on the subject, but I got to figure that someone here has some idea where I can go!

    Thanks in advance!

The only place I can find them is here in town at a place just called The Brake Shop. He actually repads them as they are bonded together instead of riveted. Actually had someone SHIP their Whippet down from Maine to have it's brakes redone! I could give you his number if you want. Let me know.

Thanks so much for the info Chuxx and Jayne! I actually found a dude in Rochester NY that can do entire new shoes (liners and all) for very 40 bucks an axel (No core!)

Thanks bro. I know what you mean. You definitely don't see them everywhere.
