New to the board and to cars all around.

Hey there, folks. My name's Tyler Evans, and I live out in Texas. I'm in Mansfield, which is about 20 minutes outside of Fort Worth.
I dig rockabilly a whole lot and have always loved old cars, but never really was old enough when my grandpappy could remember anything he knew about cars... so, I never was taught his knowledge. He's still around but his memory loss is worsening, so, it's sad... anyway.
I'd like to learn anything and everything about old cars, namely late 40's-early 50's Fords and Chevys.

Thanks! Hopefully I'm not too dense and can pick up a thing or two. For now, I'll just gawk at pictures and go "ooh ahhh".
