Ive been lurking off and on for a while trying to get a feel for the board. I dont currently have a rod but theres definately one in my future. I love the build it while you drive it rods, and the period correct builds. My current project is a 69 camaro, it was my first car and I finally have an opportunity to do it justice and build it correctly. I have a 63 impala thats on the back burner and havent decided on a direction for it yet. My dad is a 409 impala #'s guy so the 63 is a cast off parts car thats in pretty good shape. We have a few 348's that Im planning a future rod build around, maybe a 1960 timeframe build, as accurately as funds allow. Ive been building cars and engines for 15 years now, mostly 60's muscle. I built engines for drag cars and many modified stock cars for a few years for extra funds. Ive worked in body shops and painted a few cars along the way. I post up at pro-touring.com, yenko.net, ls1-tech, performancetrucks.net, 348-409.com under the same screen name so I may see some of you around the web from here. Glad I found the board and hope to contribute.
