I'm new here and I'm looking for any info on front ends for 1951 ford 2dr sedans. I've found a number of options from stock replacement to mustang 2 front clips. I don't have any set plans as to what I'm going to do yet. I'd like to here some opinions from people in the know. Thanks.

Welcome to the HAMB. You need to start a new thread with that question. Not many people look in the intro section so you probably won't get an answer. Thanks, BOBBY FORD

i have a 51 sedan and a 49 that i just chopped last year. i have the stock front end on the 51 (fatman spindle drops with the steering arms and lowering blocks on the a arms) and the 49 there are several ways to go for the front suspension. i am looking to go with the mustang II with the rack on it just for the safety issues and driveability factor. Jamco makes a ball joint front end with the disc set up that is real good, and there are several companies doing the steering box conversions. that would be my thing having rebuilt my sector and knowing that you have to spend some serious cheese in doing it. i would look into the steering issues that is the main thing wrong with the Shoeboxes. but like Bobby said i would post a thread on the forum and see what the others are doing and what they like/dislike. and oh yeah WELCOME TO THE HAMB!!!!!
