Awesome. Love your truck build. I actually took a few screen shots of your steering solution to show the builder. He has several ideas and is starting to mock up everything. The dodge is officially out. Using the chassis it is on and going the ls motor direction. I’m sure I will have questions for everyone as things progress.

Is the frame under it right now something other than the original?

If I remember right the guy I bought it from said the suspension is f550. I think the frame is original though.

I bought a 1950s ish international harvester metro van as a starting point for the box. The plan is to use the metro roof from the drip rails up, the rear and rear doors. Cut the front off and fab the rest of the box but the curvy parts and doors are already made. The inside pic with my daughter standing in it is deceiving it’s tall enough for me to stand it. She was cowering from a bee that was flying around in there.

Is it realistic to cut out the back of the cab and take some of the "box" space in order to move the seats back? It made a huge comfort difference in mine.

I could but the box is separate from the cab and the motor is right there anyway. I have plenty of room sitting in it so I should be good.

Looks like that is going to work very good.

Looks awesome... can you use only 1? IIRC, if I did that with the Isuzu boxes I'd need to turn the steering wheel left to right.

Why the support on that shaft? I would have guessed with fixed Borgesons on each side that a support would not be needed.

Remember to Locktite those damn little set screws. (ask me how I know)...

The end of the vdog with the ball is quite free to rotate around. The support just ensures everything is locked in place.

OIC!! The Vdog output shaft isn't fixed like the Isuzu unit... Carry on!
