    It has a way to go but it’s better than starting from scratch. It does look worse than it is also.

    Just welding on the sides but across the top he welded in a 1/2” piece of steel

    Thanks. The dash will be wrapped in an acoustically transparent black fabric and will pretty much look like a normal dash to someone who doesn't know what the dash is supposed to look like in this truck.

    Lookin cool! I REALLY like that fancy overhead HVAC control piece.. Was the bezel curve the same as the header panel?

    I placed a transplanted XJ (Jeep) gauge cluster in the center of the dash on a YJ. It worked well, but I was forever looking for the speedo in front of me and then saying "Oh yeah, it's over there...". :rolleyes:
