House takes priority over COE build? Obviously, your priorities are screwed up. Garage build, maybe.... LOL!

Hope you're back on it soon. What did that set of wheels set you back if you don't mind me asking?

I have seen pics of this one before. To me the box is too small.

So I think I’m at a point where enough life stuff has happened that I have to let my coe go. I’m going to try to get it running and driving but no paint, interior or box on the back. I could use input on what you guys think it might be worth and/or if anyone you know might be interested.

I'm sorry to hear that.. I suppose life can get in the way.... On value, they seem to be all over the board for projects. If it's running and driving I'd guess 16-20k range....

Man that would be a kick in the gut. I have more than that in the suspension engine and trans.

Don't take my word as gospel. It was really just a guess based on what I've seen them sell for. Your's certainly has a ton of very nice custom stuff so maybe you can recoup more of the costs...

This one sold for 70K recently... I thought that was a fair price for both sides.

If you consider where you are financially on it, maybe it's a good reason to finish it then drive and enjoy it.

It’s a small market also. Not sure what I’m going to do.

  18. That one on BAT has been around for more than 20 years. It was one of the trucks that I took design elements from when I was first getting started on my Autocar.
I don't know what kind of "life stuff" is going on in your life, but there has been a couple different times in my Autocar build where I had to set it aside while I concentrated on other things. (once for nearly 3 years) Fortunately I had a building for storage, so it could sit without costing me a bunch of storage fees.
No matter what your solution is, I hope things work out for you.

I would think that getting it running and driving would help. Sure, COEs are a limited market but still very desirable. I think the fact that it's a project would be a more limiting factor. There seem to be many more people willing to buy something completed than signing up for a project..

Possibly the case for sure. I know when I bought it I was drawn to it being a project so I could finish it how I wanted it.

hey, I can hope, right?

I'll also hope that you find a good home for it. There certainly is some very nice stuff there that someone should appreciate.

Well the truck is at the house now. It will sit here till I can sell it or I’m out of the financial deficit and resume work. I’m not going to lie, I did climb in the drivers seat and make some vroom vroom noises.
