$50/hr times a thousand hours!
I figure I have $20,000 in my Autocar without any labor and I'm a cheap s.o.b. when it comes to parts

 

I must be a cheaper SOB than you.. People ask me what I spent on it and my reply is "I did great on the budget right up until paint and interior". Those items more than doubled my $12,000 number to a total of 25K.

Lets see, we've put about 18,000 miles on the truck. That's only $1.38 per mile.

 

My $20,000 doesn't include any miles yet!

 

I have about $65k in mine as it sits.
