hello all found this site very helpful thought i would try to tribute some. i just started my first flathead rebuild just drop off motor at machine shop to be checked and cleaned. any advice from there, new parts, good sites?
Hmm, first rebuild? Well, get a good manual specific for the flathead. Ifhtere is a car guy or club handy, make friends. I don't recommend going it completely alone the first time. Find a mentor. Go slow...very slow and think through everything at least twice. You can do it. Go for it!! I almost forgot....WELCOME. Lots to learn here.
