Well, I just got around to getting signed up for the forum. Actually I tried to go on the flathead jack web site and then followed a link to the forum. I was suprised to see that so many other people had similar experience as I with flathead jack. I have been working on a 46 ford business coupe with a new 59ab engine, 5speed and 8 inch. It ran great until I decided to "fix" it with a Pertronix electronic ignition module. Now I am not sure if it is the ignition or carburation that is the problem. At least I still have several months until nice weather to fix it.
