Hey there guys. Im new to this group. I just recently bought a 53 ford mainline with no engine or trans. I also obtained a 93 f-250 for free which i plan on taking that engine and trans and slapping it on the mainline. The truck has a running 351 fuel injected but i plan on carbuerating it. Any tips, tricks or ideas on installing that 351 in my mainline? Thanks guys. -Sal

Welcome to the group! Try to give us some info on what transmission you will be using, also if you can post a pic of the 351's oil pan.

Thanks guys. Ive already learn a lot of info in the past couple days. I still need to find out exactly which ****** comes with that truck. Im picking it up tomorrow afternoon. As far as I know, its an automatic transmission. Plus I have a feeling that it might have a forward sump pan so I might have to look for a rear sump pan and pickup. Im getting a little ahead of myself though. Ill get some more pics posted up as soon as I can.
