Well I figure I will comply on the post in the introductions! I am from Alaska but temporarily in Seattle/Tacoma area. Just found a near complete '51 Merc 4 door, its missing a motor/trans. I am working on the owner right now. I am new to the whole Kustom scene but not to cars. Been building drag cars and muscle cars most of my adult life. Grew up around muscle cars. I am even into some of the import stuff (rally cars not ricers). Been lurking on here for a bit looking at the forum to learn and get some ideas. When I get this I need to link up with some folks here in the PNW that may have some experience chopping a top. I'm wanting to do a 3 1/2 inch chop and keep the stock looking roof line. Wide Whites etc. I'm definitely diggin all the amazing cars on here! Look forward to meeting some of you down the road
