Hoping to gleen some knowledge from those of you who've been there and done that. My current predicament that has me chasing my tail is my 1964 Ford Econoline. I've owned her now for about 4 years, when purchased only having 65K on the ODO. Now at only 80K my differential is howling like crazy and I had it looked at and was told that the pinion bearing is bad which has caused wear on the pinion. That being said, I was told that parts to rebuild are no longer available. Hoping for some info on locating an 8" rear axle assembly, or some info on what other rearends will fit. Thanks in advance!

Of course parts are available! Its a 9". But the easiest thing to do is get another rear axle at the U Pull It. They are only $90 here. (The econoline did have a 9" didnt it?)
