    just joined. this site is very awesome. i have been around cars for many years. father started used car business in 1960. i worked with him from 5 yrs old. still in business, although pop passed on in 1999. 48 yrs in the same place in pa, 1 hr from carlisle. i have a ton of old parts from model A to 1997. cars ranging from 1936 to 1998. although am fasing out newer stuff in lew of old. have a lot 4 sale, buy project cars. i'm personally working on a 1960 chevy belair 2dr hdtp. street rod. tubbed out blown 454, all original chrome, rechromed bumpers, cool ride. have a 1970 camaro z-28 drag car 468 big block, alchohol injected,new never fired yet. 1970 chevelle 454 built to ls-6 specs, 500 miles since done. many other rides. feel free to chat at any time, enjoy old cars, and finding them, saving them from being crushed.sorry for being so long winded.

    Another welcome from Arkansas. I appreciate what you said about enjoying old cars, finding them, and saving them from the crusher. Once they're crushed and on the way to China, they can't be replaced.

    Keep up the "good fight". With scrap prices so high it is becoming very tempting to send any "iron" to the crusher.
