I am new to this site but I may as well jumb in with both feet. I have a '47 Buick 2 dr. Sedanette that I drive but just had to jump back into the muscle car era. I am looking for a left side (drivers side) steering arm for a '69 Nova. I jumped off into a new builder and cannot seem to find this part. I can find new ones that will fit the new rack and pinion set up but that is not the route I am going. Any help will be appreciated to get me on the right track.

Do you mean this in the sense of vehicle preference or what. Car people enjoy all makes, models.Or are you going somewhere else with this?

well the right track around here is the buick....this place is for traditional hot rods and customs, neither of which does your nova belong to. now why don't you try introducing yourself again, but don't say anything about your belly****on car...it's ok, if you're quick about it we will pretend to forget the initial image of you with your foot in your mouth and head up your *** at the same time.

i have to ask, seriously, what the ****** hell made you think that this was the place to ask about a '69 nova? there's gotta be something in the water out there i hope for your sake...either that or you don't know how to use google to find one of the several boards out there that deal with those ugly POS cars.

now quick; back out the door, run home and change your shirt and then come back and pretend this never happened :p

If I wanted to read a lot I would buy a newspsper and look in the cl***ifieds. About the Buick: Nova sub frame, nosed decked shaved, molded fenders and fadeaways,500 c.i. Cadillac bored 30 over, Turquoise and salmon. To those people I offended with the Nova I apoligize. But with cars it is just like different flavors of ice cream or they would only manufacture vanilla. Would it not be a cruel world if everyone had only the choice of 1 vehicle with only 1 color. For traditional hot rods. They are fine but I would never make a sarcastic remark about a persons vehicle as this is his decision not mine and any way he did not ask me for money to build it. And I bet that anyone that posts anything on this site has screwed up before and also has had to ask some general information at some point and time.

Also for Mr. Eightydeuce. I do not know what kind of Hot rod you drive or possibly push but in the era of the so called traditional hot rods look into it a little deeper and see what engines we used. Possibly Buick, Cadillac. As for Street Rods I will keep my stand. And you can probably keep your rust.

I guess this site is for a little B.S. This message is to skajaguada. How is the Diamond-t. Looks like you are trying to do something with some different engine swaps. You may not care for the '47 Buick but check out the engine displacement and let your fingers do the walking and check out the torque. If you need a little general info. to get the Diamon-t to go try a 500 c.i. caddy. d

i hate to tell you man, but you're driving vanilla ice cream cars. well no, i don't hate to tell you. and just to help you on your history, cadillac 500 engines weren't around during the traditional days we have mentioned. it's not your car that offended, it's the ignorance that you showed in posting on this board. you didn't read a BIT about what it's about and yet you thought you could just waltz on in and people would like you.

turquise and salmon?? you don't know ****lepilley do you...you guys could be **** buddies.

To Mr. skajaguada. I am very grateful that a friend of mine talked me into this site. Since it looks like you stay on this alot you probably saw earlier today everyone talking about vans. I did not see that you tried to put your 2 cents into that. You stay in your little world and think traditional. You are very talented with the mouth and the *** and I take it that you have a lot o experience keeping yours there. You must be very gifted to get to the computer keyboard to be able to write such sarcasm. Hang in there you may have your shop someday and I can vividly see your very short line of clients. Cheers.

well ronnie boy, you really don't get it do you? kustom kreep said it quite well referencing going to chinatown looking for a burrito. you wanna talk about car guys? car guys are the ones who get it, the ones who realize that there's a difference between forging new paths and just being tacky. real car guys can appreciate the different areas of the automotive hobby but realize that there are some things in good taste and others in poor. i'm done wasting my wit on the feeble likes of you, you came on here talking some **** to some guys and i have the wherewithall to call you on it. we tried to make it obvious that you don't fit in around here but you don't get it.

oh yeah, thanks for the personal attack about my future. it's great that you know me so well after so short a time as to undersand me that way.

Mr. Skajaguada and Muttley if I ruffled your feathers I do truely apologize. It was very hard to write that but what they heck. Do be very honest to both of you I really don't care what you invision as traditional, custom, lead sled or what ever. These are my point of views and to be quiet frank I really don't care what you think. As for where you are trying to go in the future I can see you are at a very early age and you still have some time to try and grow up. You should not of not let me know that I got under your skin so deep. You can ponder on it and I hope that you think of it and let it eat at your craw. I would much better talk cars but what the hay.

Also to Mr. Skajaguada in an earlier reply you stated Hot rods not Street Rods as I mentioned in my profile. Do a little more research. I did not mention in my profile that my "47 Buick was a Street Rod so I take it that you know the definition: Street Rod/ Pre '49 vehicle with modifications : Up dated engine ,trans, and the likes. What did I read about your Diamond-t. Does it not fall into this catagory or does it simply just fall. Oh, by, the way, the last comment at the end or there abouts you probably are proud of the way remember yo. Try to keep your head in it. That is probably the best place for it. Cheers.

    ok Ronald
get back on track the bottom line is this place is reserved for those who dwell in traditional rods and customs i don't go to the 4x4 forum and expect to show off my 29 es*** or do i go to the import guys and expect them to enjoy the fact that i'm useing a buick straight eight to power it.so i come here where other encourage and inspire me to do what we do. if we didn't point out this point to every wayward trend setter. we would loose the focus of the site.so lets stop this petty mess. and part ways.
