I am new to the pre 50's scene, but I've dove in with both feet. I have inherited 2 projects from my father.
One a 29 model a swiss cheese special that has a frame, which I am researching what the hell is on it.
2nd a 46 international pickup truck, no bed, but set up with a volare front end and I believe a ford 9 out back.
I am looking forward to reading everyone's builds, picking your brains and laying out how I want the model a to go. It will be spring before I get to start on it. I have a military H1 replica with a****mins/ 5 speed that I have to finish up first. I also have to help my father in law replace most of the metal on a mg t replica that we rescued from my fathers also.

I'm still going through a garage full of parts, just to figure out what goes to what, there were 11 cars in the yard at one point,
So far, I have found 2 gas tanks, full running boards and rear fenders, head light mount, aftermarket 32 grill shell and insert. 20160903_181107.jpg

I believe the rear end in the A is a chevy 55a 10 bolt . I also have the complete fenders for the international, but it'll probably be 2 years before I can get to working on it, so I won't bother updating anything else on it until it's worth a build thread

The A has a 327 with some sort of high rise intake and 2 carbs. It's pretty mean looking, I'd prefer a 4 banger, but I'll see how the frame looks before I decide which powertrain combo to use.

I guess an actual introduction is in order, I'm 38, recently married for the first time, no kids, I own a bumper repair business with 5 family members for employees. And I'm in West Michigan !
