new to the hamb forum having trouble with 48 chevy

I have a 1948 chevy fleetline with oringinal L6 216. The trouble I have is that the engine stalls at 35 mph. I have rebuilt the distributor, new spark plugs ignition coil. Also have checked carburetor. If there is anyone who can shed some light I would greatly appreciate it.
