A little about myself. I am in the Army (15 years) currently stationed at Ft Leonard Wood, MO. I have a completed 65 Ford F100, an almost completed 65 Falcon (4 Door) and just starting a 49 Chevy Fleetline (4 Door). The fleetline is the one that I want to complete and make into a daily driver. I plan on installing a 59/60 chevy dash, 53 Chevy grill, 350/350 combination engine/trans, bucket seats and paint it matt black with blue or purple metal flake scallops. So far I have the motor and trans rebuilt but not installed. I have a 53 Olds rear end to replace the enclosed one. The biggest problem is that I'm in Missouri and my car is in Arkansas so I only get to work on it when I am on leave (vacation) or on a 4 day pass. When I can't work on it I do a lot of research and reading so I dont waste time making simple mistakes. So I will probably be asking a lot of questions. I have a tech post I am working on. It is how to do a custom horn button.

I have photos I just dont have digitals and I dont have a scaner. I am looking at a digital camera if I buy it I will take some photoes. Probably wont be until around thanksgiving. I am about 300 miles from my projects. The military frowns on you working on a car in your parking lot, we do have a great auto craft shop with lifts and prety much any mechanical tools you need. If your car does not run then you have to store it at the craft shop $$$ or on post storage either way you would not be able to do any body work or anything major like a frame up type project. I pass my time by reading up on body work and going to shows or salvage yards.
