Hello All, I've toyed with cars since my father towed me home with my first Street Rod attempt (1933 Chevy 4-door Master). I still remember sitting on a tool box for my first ride through Milwaukee, keeping the towline taught, with my dad giving me hand signals... Quite the ride! In my twenties, I was successful with saving a 55 Ford F100. I performed a frame off strip and restoration, retaining the cl***ic looks, modified with many GM upgrades... I've never really understood the purists scoff of the street rod builder using what was available/affordable parts to complete a project.. Many years have past, and now, I find I've sort of come full circle, I'm now restoring a 1937 Chevy Master Deluxe 4-door (first year of the independent front end). I heard it run many years ago and will try to bring this one back to it's former glory with sensible upgrades like a newer master cylinder, and possibly replacing the 216 with a 235. If you guys have any parts ( currently looking for rear quarter Windows, frames and vent mechanisms) give me a shout. I've posted some photos to my profile album. Thanks- Steve (Mason Man)
