My grandpa bought this truck brand new in 67... my dad has had it and I learned to drive in it. It sat around for the last 10 years or so. Then my son got his drivers license so we worked on it and drove it from Boise to Portland over the summer and my son drives it every day! IMG_3357.JPG IMG_3814.JPG
You might recognize this 48? The rattle can rebuild... such a cool and fun truck!

My wife and I had a blast driving it home as the new owners... all my kids want to drive it! Well you could say we aren't the typical family! No mini vans here! Not sure how our neighbors feel?

Hi & welcome. Nice rides. I am assuming you do not mean Portland Tx. A bit across the bay from Corpus Christi?
I am running on 6 also. Jimmie

I guess you could say that... although my wife drives a 2013 Grabber Blue Mustang... my parents have a 49 Ford F1...

HI. It is the engine in my avatar. It is a 1957 Chevy 235 engine bored 0.060 with a 268 grind Clifford cam and all new internals except the crank. Hardened valve seats, solid lifters with heavy springs, Clifford dual carb water heated manifold with two 2 barrel Webber Carbs, Hei ignition, 12 volt conversion, tube headers. Soon to be added is the old style Thickstun polished finned rocker cover.
Currently trying to get finished with a new wire loom and then will add a Vintage air unit.
