New member here, been using the HAMB for awhile now working on my 50 Olds 98. Been into cars for as long as I could remember, got into street rods and rat rods about 5-6 years ago. From Houston, TX always looking for some new friends. As always advice on the 50 are always welcome as I'm finding out things are interestingly hard to find for this particular car.

Welcome brother. Glad to have you. Lots of good info here. Let me give you some advice though, most people here dislike "street rods" and "rat rods", they will get all fired up, (not me I dig everything, but THEY...), They just like traditional "hot rods" and "customs", cars '65 and older. (There are some rules for posting just read this http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/guidelines-the-traditional-hot-rod-forum.828348/ Just edit your post to say "I got into hot rods 5-6 years ago...." and you'll be swingin. It's like walkin into a convention for vegetarians wearing a 10 foot link of sausages like a scarf eating a mega sized slim jim. (This is making me hungry, gotta go...)
