Great to be here. Grew up around cars and car folks, we always tinkered with drivers and street/race cars. I did the traditional thing and went off to school and got a job in the Corporate world slaving away and losing all my hobbies. I left that world behind a year ago and came home to the family business and all the old timers and their cars and the long nights of dreaming about that rusty car in the back pasture. It didn't take long for the bug to catch me again and I picked up a 56 Buick 2D HT that needed to be put back together and I picked up some Mack brushes and some one-shot. Before long I had the old nailhead on the road and expanded the pinstriping thing a little to include some funky one-shot art. I hit the Round-Up last year and I got fired up to see all the traditional cars around and the scene that was around them, I bought an old wore out 52 Plymouth with some old flames from the 60's with the little bit of cash I had left after the Buick. We thrashed all year and got it half ass finished for the Round-Up, it was the crazy looking one with the white zoomies sticking out of the hood all six on one side - slapped an old slant six in it with two ones - baby hemi's are cool but leaning towers are cheap. I was talking to a guy Saturday night while I was striping his roof and he told me about the HAMB, so here I am and I am fired up to be around a bunch of folks with the same interests, new ideas, and more knowledge than I can squeeze out of my head to figure out that funky engine swap or carb issue.
