new to the hamb

im new to the hamb but have a few questions i just got a 36 international truck almost complete no frame and i cant see a vin anyware is the engine number the vin i have the original flat head motor with the truck and was told the engine number was same as vin any help or suggestions would help

Engine and frame # are often the same, but do as Tommy suggests to confirm.
