New to the HAMB

Discussion in 'New to the H.A.M.B.? Introduce yourself here!' started by NOV07, Aug 28, 2012.

  1. Hello all,

My name is Dave Mann and I am new to the HAMB. I live in Knoxville TN. We'll I signed up a few months ago but Uncle Sam has been keeping me busy. I am working on a 32 Chevy Hop Up right now. It's a family project, my 11 yr old daughter, 9 yr old son and 6 yr old son all help out. We're building it to represent what would have been build in 57, that's the year our house was built. It's been great fun so far!!

The car came out of a garage outside of Chicago. It was parked in 1940. We got lucky, car has very good wood and no rust!!

Welcome Dave from the west coast of Florida.

Knoxville is an area with a great deal of Hot Rod interest for sure.

I have friends from here in Florida who moved to places like Lenoir City and Marysville to be closing to some of the large shows like Shades of the Past and others.

Hope the HAMB is useful with your project and best of luck.
