New to the hamb

Discussion in 'New to the H.A.M.B.? Introduce yourself here!' started by tub in da dirt, Oct 20, 2005.

  1. My old man has had me in the garage and swaps since I was in huggies. I guess that's how I got the rust in my blood. I cut my teeth on Chevelles and ElCaminos but I got tired of people telling me what bolts were wrong and what shade of flat black to use on the hood hinges.

I like my cars low, loud and leaking at least two colors of fluid. I have a 26 tub that's flat green, zd hard and still has seating for 4.

I built it in 38 days and just about lost my new wife in the process. It still needs stuff to make it reliable but thats what the winter is for. I love shoe box Fords that have their lids drop and collecting cheap parts even if they don't fit anything. Rather build it than buy it as would a lot of you guys, thats why I like it here.

    thanks
    tom

Welcome! I know what you mean about people judging every detail of a car, I guess it has its place, I got tired of it too. Like your ride, I have a 25 T that I going to give a go at building next year.
