  1. Hello everyone! I am Kathy and my husband is Art. We own my grandfather's 1938 Ford pickup--I am the third generation owner. It has a Buick 401 nailhead engine, a 400 transmission and an angora mohair interior. The '38 year of this model is pretty rare, as the grille was only made for one year. We show it occasionally and have been having a good time doing so. It seems that a lot of people on this site knew my father, Bill Waddill, a hot rodder from way back; and I have been having a good time reading remembrances from people who knew him!

Welcome aboard. Family hot rods are the best! My '36 coupe was my Dad's first car.

Bout time!! She is really gonna fit in here. She's really knows her hot rod history and her truck has quite the history behind it. We'll let her tell her own story.

    Well Kathy,

You know I thank you a ton for finally coming on board and sharing your stories and history of your father.

It may have ended seventeen years ago, but it began in 1928, 77 years ago!!

    Welcome to the Hamb, enjoy...

    HRD
