Hello all! My name is Nick, i am from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. This past monday i bought a 1953 GMC 3/4 ton truck, it is a 5 window cab, 228 with a three on the tree. The truck is all orginal and was owned by one family since it was new for the vast majority of its life. (Pennsylvania Truck) In 2014 the original owner p***ed away, the grandson inherited the truck and sold it to the gentleman I bought it from.

I am looking to restore the truck to original condition with the exception of maybe converting it to a 12 volt system, and possibly putting a modern tow hitch and pig tail on it to pull a motorcycle trailer.

I joined this site to be able to ask tech questions and hopefully find some of the parts i will need.

    Thanks,
    Nick Miller
