Hey gang - new to the site and very excited to explore it all and be involved when I can. I am an old school rodder and love the traditional rods and gassers the most. I am about to get into a couple of model A coupe projects with family ties and am learning as I go...I have a lot to learn yet!! I'm starting soon on my 31 coupe first and have a sweet custom built rolling chassis from the late 50's/early 60's that was built for a 31 coupe drag car and ran in ND back in the day. It was built extremely well and some time was spent on it. It has a very cool and well thought out front and rear torsion bar set-up making ride height adjustment available on all 4 corners, etc. etc. I recently picked up a solid running 1961 401 Buick Nailhead to drop in it this summer. I plan on rounding up a stick tranny of some sort to mate up to it. I like my old school rods to have a clutch!!! I also have a rebuilt 1950 Olds Rocket 303 with 1950 3 speed manual trans for the other 1928 coupe/roadster project that was built by my Uncle and his brother's in the late 50's. It had sat at my Uncle's place for 40+ years and they gave it to me as I showed so much interest in it over the years! I want to stick to the original integrity of their build and honor them in a true old school way in putting it back on the road again. It will take some work, but is the real deal and a very basic good old boys hot rod from back in the day! Thanks for allowing me on, and I look forward to experienced feedback and more on this site! -livin' old school
